We can keep this one short. The official video for Karriem Riggins‘ “Summer Madness” is out. Shout out to Stones Throw.
Freddie Joachim‘s latest album entitled, “Fiberglass Kisses”, dropped today on Mellow Orange. It’s Freddie’s fourth full-length album and we think it’s a winner. Nice guest vocals from Carlitta Durand, Miles Bonny, L. Santiago, Mar and J. Mitchell. You can buy the digital album on or head over to HHV and pre-order some vinyl or CD’s.
It’s been a while since I heard some new good ol’ Hip Hop music that I wanted to bump my head to. Today I found out about this new Quartermaine joint, produced by Kev Brown, and my neck was thanking me to the fullest extent. Some good ass rhymin’ on “War Of The Roses” which is available as a free download on the Redef Soundcloud page. This jam is on the “Quarter Life Crisis” album due next month on Redefinition Records/Low Budget Records by the way.

Jeedo debuts his brand new Electric Street Orchestra today on his Soundcloud page and let me tell you this shit is crackin’! This single will be out in five days on Dirt Tech Reck and contains two songs. The A-side contains “Scorpio” featuring Mad Mike Banks & UR-043, while the B-side is blessed with “M.F.A.” (Master Funk Association) which features Theo Parrish, Andres & Duminie. In this particular case I will be saying Tech-YES instead of Techno.

Robert Glasper‘s “Black Radio” album is already one of this year’s favourite picks, but what do we actually think about the “Black Radio Recovered: The Remix EP”? We were impressed by big names such as Pete Rock and Solange at first, but perhaps it was merely our high expectations that got the best of us. A so so remix from Georgia Anne Muldrow and a Questlove remix that was okay-ish. Could this really be it? Surely the level of niceness is nowhere near that of the album or are we missing something here?
Since we haven’t posted any new music lately, we thought we did owe you guys something. Not what we hoped for, but enjoy Mr Glasper thanking his fans and “Dillalude #2”. If you want this, go get it at .

Yesterday we got this email from MPM about S3. I was like what the hell is an S3, but it soon became clear that Miles Bonny and Brenk Sinatra together form Supa Soul Sh*t. Their self-titled album drops this fall, but the first single “Don’t Stop” will be available at the end of this month. Check it out below..

Wow can’t believe this was already 7 years ago. I used to bump this jam for days! For those who don’t know about this yet, forgot this or anyone really who’d like to hear some real music…enjoy! It was released on vinyl back in 2005 on the “Chop Chop 3” compilation promo, but never came out officially to my knowledge.
London’s SoulP aka Soulpersona recently released a remastered version of “Soulacoaster” containing some demo material and new remixes. The album features the vocal stylings of Deborah Jordan, Princess Freesia, Replife, Peachy Salthouse, Sibel Thrasher (from the Roy Ayers Music Project) and more. We wanted to bless your ears with the previously unreleased “Back & Forth” so enjoy and purchase if you like.

This month’s birthstone is Peridot, which is not to be mistaken for Emeralds. We hope you enjoy this mix as much as all the previous ones.
