“Breathtaking sparkles, glimmering fractions. What melodical madness causes such satisfaction?”
Yes, yes…finally it’s here. A monthly selection of gems for everyone to enjoy in the form of a 1 hour mix (give or take a few minutes). Since the number 12 is also known as the number for perfection, we have chosen a birthstone for each month. So if you’re into diamonds by the dozen or you like rubies in the rough, you’re in the right place.
January’s birthstone is the Garnet. It’s name comes from the 14th century Middle English word, gernet, meaning ‘dark red’. Enjoy our first mix of the year and spread the word if you dig this.
Yes yes, that Parisian smooth operator they call Häzel is back with another freebie called “The V”. We didn’t want you guys to miss out on this one, so go ahead and grab that free download over at his Bandcamp page!

Can’t wait to get my hands on this and his previous 7″. For more TBG tunes you can check out his Soundcloud.

Well good news, because the muscles from Brussels, aka Cris Prolific, teamed up with Vancouver’s illest lyricist Moka Only to create this bad ass remix. Shit if official!!

Watch out now, because Christoph El Truento‘s instrumental “EP01″ just dropped today on the Japanese Wonderful Noise label. We’ve been waiting for this one for ages, but it seems it has been pushed back a little. No matter, because it’s now widely available on and will also be pressed on wax. Let me get back on a later note with info about where to pick up the vinyl.

Undoubtebly the best album of 2012 already and we haven’t even passed the first month yet. Enjoy this EPK for some interesting background info and behind the scenes recordings. And trust us you’ll be hearing more music from this amazing album soon.
Our new years resolution is focussing more on top notch, warm sounding music this year. Of course this also applies to beats and other electronic music. Now if you ask me Mr .Dibiase, back with “Driftin Off” this time, has always been coming with that quality sounds so sit back and soak up this preview joint of the new Producer#3 Part 3 EP coming out on Fat City Recordings Feb. 20th.

Now I hear that Florianópolis (Brazil) is one of the most beautiful places to visit, so not a big surprise where the inspiration came from. Just the kinda groove we love to hear on here, so peep it!

The band consists of the following members: Shingo Suzuki (bass/keyboard), Mabanua (drums) and Shingo Sekiguchi (guitar). Their first, “Heart Fever” EP, fuses live instruments with the art of sampling to come out sounding quite interesting. We wanted to share this Slept on Sundays joint “Beautiful Love”, of their debut EP released on Origami Productions which is available on in case you were wondering.

Their new album is called “Seeds” and will be releasing March 27 on SomeOthaShip Connect. The title song has that 70’s Blaxploitation vibe to it with sick soulful horns, ill strings and Georgia’s distinctive voice. Eventhough the single, “Seeds”, won’t be out until Feb 14 on Fat Beats, an exclusive free download was made available thanks to Rolling Stone.
