In case you haven’t heard of Mixcloud before…go and vist their amazing website! This is the new place to upload and check out mixes and thanks to this great widget it’s very blog-friendly. Gent’s very own DJ Azer was so nice to bless us with a dope mix he recorded recently. Naturally we loved the Moovmnt mix and so we decided to host it for ya’ll. It took ages, or so it seemed, but finally all the audio was gathered and we asked JayHats to mix everything down so it sounds just right. No crappy sound, although please keep in mind that the beats you heard live at the battle may sound a bit differently on thes compilation. If you truly want to relive the moment I suggest you play these beats in a residential area, preferably as loud as possible. For those who weren’t at the Beat Battle at the Rooms of Red Bull…ya’ll missed a CLASSIC! Either way we asked all contestants to donate one beat so we could put together this compilation album.
We called it “The Afterthought” because we thought it necessary to look back on what the f*ck happened that night. Since we know a little extra is always welcome, we added some bonus beats from the number 1 (Hayzee), number 2 (StatikMusic) and number 3 (J’83). And of course made available for free download!

When Front2Blaq hit us up with this dope “Featuremysoul” mix, we decided to connect with our Swedish homegirl Johanna from Apple Juice Break to do a European collabo release. Since the summer is still in full effect, we from Moovmnt decided to drop some “Cali Love” on that ass. We selected a whole lot of niceness and asked Mr. Speak to mix together this ode to California for us. We played this one on the RBMA Radio show last month. But his love for fashion, colorful sneakers, and porn disqualify him of being such a stereotype. So, the 23-year old lyricist finds himself playing the same role he played in middle school and high school, in the music industry. The nobody begging to become a somebody. To celebrate and promote the fact we’re organizing the Beat Battle at the Rooms of Red Bull (together with Nalden), we decided to ask djbroadcast if we could do a radioshow. A two hour Beat Special is what we decided to bless your ears with and you’re in for a special treat. Big man I.N.T (La Melodia) is going to be playing together with Deluge and MRP and me will be mixing together the other hour. Be sure to tune in to RBMA Radio from 18:00 till 20:00 hours (GMT+1).
