For those that don’t know, Wavefiles is a party in Amsterdam that is setting the trend. In the past they have brought artists like fLako, Stwo, Samiyam, Om Unit, IAMNOBODI, 813 and Chloe Martini to the Dutch capitol. And now it’s Evil Needle‘s turn to strut his stuff. The next edition will take place tomorrow at OT301 with local support from Jarreau Vandal (Soulection) and Sojuju (Flow-Fi).

I told ya’ll South East Asia is waking the funk up. A small group of people have been pushing good new music over there and took it upon themselves to bring Opolopo and Amalia to Asia for a tour. To celebrate this Goodnws Peter and Amalia were asked for some musical niceness and behold an exclusive new joint called “Gado Gado Funk”. We recorded this Stones Throw Special w/ Aloe Blacc at the Sound Gallery in Amsterdam yesterday. Got some nice exclusive joints in there so give it a listen. Aloe’s show tonight at Rotown Rotterdam has been sold out, so it’s gonna be hot & heavy. Big up to Stones Throw for bringing out so much good music over the years.

My man Mar is going to be performing live and also Szjerdene and Rahkshan (both from London) will be present to bless ya’ll with a live show.
