So Co$$‘ new album is about to drop next month. First video is “Spaceman” and if my hunch is right “Before I Awoke” might just be that type of hype that you’ve been waiting for. A few cameo’s on there from Blu, Aloe Blacc and Shawn Jackson. Production wise he called in the help of Exile, Fonetik Simbol, J83, Knxwledge, Cook Classics, Erik L and Chief. It don’t matter though because Jay Electronica just dropped a new video via Okayplayer. The “Dimethyltryptamine” vid was shot in Kathmandu Nepal in the fall of 2009 and was directed by Jason Goldwatch and filmed by Decon. All this over Dilla’s “Phantom of the Synths”…just check this.

It is on this day that thousands of people show their love for the other black gold. Earlier this week we received an early promo copy of Fatima‘s upcoming “Follow You” EP and we can tell you it’s amazing. This one’s entirely produced by Floating Points and just sounds bananas. Perhaps you’ve heard the mesmerizing “Mind” before on the radio, but I bet you guys haven’t heard “Red Light” yet. The homies from Eglo uploaded this preview to Youtube which we would like to share with you all. The EP is set to release in May and a small run of vinyl copies will also available prior to the digital release.
